Having a budget helps you manage your money, control your spending, save, pay off debt, or stay out of debt.
Below are the guidelines that you can use to set up a budget, create a separate monthly amount, change the default budget, or delete one from the settings.
[1. How to set up a budget]
1) Select "Total" on the Trans tab and click on Budget Setting.
2) On the Budget Setting page, click on the "+" button on the top right corner.
3) Once you select the category and insert the amount, click save to add the budget.
4) The newly added budget will appear on the total screen.
You will see the budget bar is filling up as you record your expenses. The line on the bar indicates your current recommended spending limit based on the amount of the budget and the current date.
The Total Budget on the top helps you keep track of your budget status as a whole.
Once you set up a budget, the amount will be applied as default for all the other months.
If you tap a budget bar on the Total page, you can also view the graph of the spent amount for each month.
[2. How to edit a separate monthly budget]
1) If you wish to have a different budget for an individual month,
go to Total > Budget Setting > Select the budget you wish to edit
2) Select the month you wish to edit.
3) Enter the budget amount and save.
[3. How to change the default budget]
1) You can also change the default budget amount.
From the Budget Setting page, tap the 'Default Budget' at the top
2) Insert the new budget amount and save.
3) You will see that the default amount has been changed.
※ Please note that the changes to the default budget will be applied starting next month.
(For example, assuming that the current month is April, and you have changed the default budget, the changes will not be applied to April and its previous month, but to May and onwards.)
In addition, if you had edited the budget amount for an individual month, and changed the default budget afterward, the change will not be applied to that individual month.
(For example, if you had edited the amount for June, and changed the default budget, the budget for June will not be changed as you see below.)
[4. How to delete a budget]
1) Go to the Budget Setting page from the Total tab.
You can also access the page by going to More > Configuration > Budget Setting.
2) Click on the category you wish to delete.
3) Click on the trash box button in the top right corner.
Once you click YES on the confirmation message, the budget will no longer appear on your Total page.
